Mr. Honey was born from a simple passion: connecting people with the pure, authentic taste of Florida raw honey. We discovered that the best honey comes from trusted local producers who understand their craft and respect the bees that make it all possible.
We are based out of beautiful Brevard County, FL (also known as the Space Coast). Our journey began when we realized how difficult it was to find truly raw, unprocessed honey that hadn't been heated or filtered beyond recognition. We wanted to change that. We wanted to create a source where honey lovers not just in our immediate area, but all around the country, could trust that what they're getting is genuine, fresh, and full of the natural goodness that makes raw honey special.
Today, we're proud to work with dedicated beekeepers like Sun Splash who share our values. Together, we're building a community of people who appreciate the real thing—honey that tastes like it came straight from the hive.
Sun Splash is a family-owned beekeeping operation based in Edgewater, Volusia County, located near the pristine Mosquito Lagoon. For over 15 years, they've been harvesting some of Florida's most distinctive Black Mangrove honey, building a reputation for excellence and dedication to their craft.
What makes their Black Mangrove honey special is the unique environment where it's produced. The high density of black mangroves around Mosquito Lagoon creates a rare and pure honey with a distinctive flavor profile that can't be replicated elsewhere. This is honey that tells the story of Florida's natural landscape in every spoonful.
Black Mangrove honey is naturally dense and crystallizes quickly—what beekeepers call "wet honey." Rather than using industrial heating methods that damage the honey's delicate properties, Sun Splash uses a gentle drying process that preserves the raw honey's natural enzymes, pollen, and nutritional benefits. This is how real raw honey should be handled.
